With a Mental Healthcare treatment plan from your GP, you can access rebates for up to 10 psychology sessions each calendar year
This means Medicare will refund you a fixed amount after each session, which lowers your out-of-pocket fee.
To claim Medicare rebates, you must meet the following criteria:
✅ Be residing in Australia
✅ Hold a valid Medicare card
✅ A Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP
✅ A referral to a registered psychologist

You don’t have to. With Updoc, you can consult with an AHPRA-registered Partner Psychologist from anywhere in Australia. Although ‘tele’ is in the name, all you need to do is complete a quick questionnaire, and a Partner Psychologist will be matched to you.
Medicare provides a fixed rebate for eligible sessions.
