Yes, you can work from anywhere in Australia. You can do temporary consultations outside of Australia if permitted by your professional indemnity provider.
Your remuneration is the same regardless of the consultation outcome, including when your professional judgement differs from the patient’s request.
You can always say no to the request and it'll be reassigned to another Partner Doctor.
Given the risks associated with these medications, including doctor shopping and unsafe prescribing, our primary care service does not support the prescribing of Schedule 8 medications or medicinal cannabis.
