Updoc does not lodge Medicare claims for you. You pay the full fee, we email your paid invoice, and you claim the rebate yourself through Medicare. If you are eligible, this usually takes a few minutes.
Request an appointmentMedicare eligibility is assessed by Services Australia, not Updoc. Having a referral and an invoice does not by itself guarantee a rebate.
Go to my.gov.au, sign in, and open your linked Medicare service.
Select Make a claim, then choose the option for a service you have already paid for.
Enter the date of service, provider number, item number and amount charged, exactly as they appear on your Updoc invoice.
Confirm every field matches. A single wrong digit is the most common reason a claim is rejected.
Review and submit. You will see a confirmation, and any rebate is paid into the bank account Medicare holds for you.
