What Are The Types Of Herpes?

Herpest Simplex Virus (HSV) is a common infection, spreading by skin-to-skin contact. There are two types:

Type 1 (HSV-1) - the more common variant, spread by oral contact and infects around or in the mouth

Type 2 (HSV-2) - causes genital herpes and spreads by sexual contact
